When looking for unique Christmas gifts, be sure to put Wartrace artist Paisley Stem on your shopping list.

Paisley’s family and friends pointed out that for most of her youth, she has been a very creative person and has been involved in many different creative media over the years. Her parents Robert and Tabby Sturm said they have long supported these creative efforts.

Not long ago, after studying her Cherokee tradition in depth, Paisley discovered the Native American beading technique and decided to try it. As they said... the rest is history.

Paisley discovered that Native American bead weaving began to use materials such as wooden beads and animal tendons as ropes and passed on from generation to generation. She discovered that this was her true creative talent.

"Her attention to detail is unparalleled," her mother said.

Paisley's design displays range from simple and minimal to "cute cactus" and native patterns. The size ranges from small, medium and large.

"Everyone has something suitable!" Paisley said.

She pointed out that these items are great for daily use or for going out at night.

"All products are beautifully crafted with the highest quality products, including Miyuki and Toho beads. All hooks, clasps, jump rings and crimping tubes are 925 sterling silver. The triangle earrings are stainless steel."

Currently, she is making earrings and necklaces, and is also testing some bracelet designs. She suggested that the daisy chain necklace is very comfortable and suitable for going out and even exercising.

Paisley is also commissioned to provide customers with special designs according to their requirements. She also created her own beaded patterns on various apps for future orders.

In addition to being unique and unique, Paisley's design is also beautifully packaged-perfect for this gift-giving season. The accompanying card is decorated with Cherokee roses and a gift box that comes with every purchase.

Prices vary, depending on the time of making each item and the materials used. Paisley pointed out that each pair of earrings takes at least 2 hours to complete.

"The larger ones take up to 4 hours."

Paisley jewelry is only available for sale at The Express at 408 Madison Street in Shelbyville and can be shipped. For more information, please call 931-684-3977.
